Large drop in the internal fuel pressure when injecting fuel |
1.CHECK OTHER DTC OUTPUT |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch on (IG) and turn the tester on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Read the DTCs.
Result | Proceed to |
DTC P0093 is output | A |
DTC P0093 and P0200 and/or P1229 are output | B |

2.INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK |
Visually check the supply pump, each injector and fuel line located between the supply pump and common rail for fuel leaks or fuel pressure leaks. Also, perform the same check on the fuel lines between the common rail and each injector.

3.READ VALUE OF COMPENSATORY INJECTION VOLUME |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Start the engine and turn the tester on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Injection Feedback Val #1, #2, #3 and #4.
Read the value.

4.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (FUEL LEAK TEST) |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Start the engine and turn the tester on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Test the Fuel Leak.
Check for fuel leaks in the high-pressure areas.
